Eugene C. Jacobs

Eugene Jacobs, a 1929 graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and a career army officer, was a medical corps physician in the Philippines at the start of World War II. He was a prisoner of war from 1942-1945 in the Philippines, Japan, and Manchuria.
