About the Author

Raye Wagner has been influenced by stories her entire life. With seven siblings, she learned early to escape the chaos through the pages of fantasy. She later pursued a career in nursing because of a fictional character. While in college, a friend painted a picture of the Greek mythological Sphinx which still hangs in Raye's home. One afternoon, the sad tale of the cursed monster dropped into her head, and she began to write.
Raye writes young-adult fiction for teens and adults.
She enjoys bakery sweets, trips to the beach, and spending time with family.
