As a child, Annie Lane spent most Saturday afternoons watching old movies and serials on TV - Little House on the Prairie, Petticoat Junction, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Waltons and Green Acres.
With encouragement from friends and family she finally decided to write books which combined a small-town community, frontier life, the "good old days" and hopefully plenty of romance! The result, the Seasons Mail Order Bride series.
