About the Author

B. Hesse Pflingger has been an assistant professor of contemporary history at California State University, Cucamonga, for 18 years. His academic advancement had been hindered by his scanty publication record, but that changed when he fortuitously met Jake Fonko, "truly a heroic figure of our age" (claims Pflingger). He has staked his professional reputation on bringing to light Mr. Fonko's amazing exploits and adventures, keys to some of the defining events of the late 20th Century. We hope that this book, the fourth chronicle in the continuing saga of Jake Fonko, will finally result in the fame and fortune that Professor Pflingger's diligent and painstaking efforts merit.
