For many years, award-winning novelist Susan Fleet was a professional trumpeter in the Boston area. While teaching at Brown University and Berklee College of Music she discovered her dark side and began writing crime fiction. In 2001 she moved to New Orleans, the setting for her Frank Renzi crime thrillers. The Premier Book Awards named Absolution Best Mystery-Suspense-Thriller 2009. Feathered Quill Book Awards named Natalie's Revenge Best Mystery-Thriller of 2014. Missing is her most recent book in the Frank Renzi crime thriller series. Susan's other passion is promoting talented female musicians. While teaching at Berklee, she created a course about 20th Century female musicians, jazz and classical.
