About the Author

Kathleen McClure began adulting (if you can call it such) as an actor and fight choreographer in New York City, and has since taken the theatrical training and turned it to writing character driven adventures, with emphasis on science fiction and fantasy genres. Kathleen's solo books, as well as those written with partners Kelley McKinnon and L. Gene Brown, lean towards fast-paced action roller-coasters with plenty of humor, but she will occasionally dive into shorter fiction and a small selection of her flash fiction pieces, most with magical realism overtones, have been collected under the title Ghosts in the Graveyard.

Other Kathleen factoids include working as an occasional stunt player for As the World Turns and Days of Our Lives, as well playing Rosalind in As You Like It on the teeniest stage ever, and staging the violence in an indie movie starring a certain actor (really nice guy) who is now playing the president on a certain scandalous television show.

She now lives in Austin, TX with her husband, two teens, three cats and a flock of rainbow flamingos in the front yard.
