Miron Ben Ari was raised in a small town right above the Dead Sea. In his youth, he studied in a small boarding school in the desert called Sde Boker; where the founder of the State of Israel, David Ben Gurion is buried. No: he doesn't ride on camels. Although many people have asked him that on his trips abroad. He drives cars but prefers public transportation.
Miron served in the Israeli navy, and is considered to be one of the worst soldiers to ever serve in the Israeli Defense Forces.
He was a gas station attendant, a room-service waiter, a lifeguard and a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Some of his friends have died or gone mad but most of them are alive and well.
Nowadays, he lives in Tel Aviv with his spouse, and Stormy Waters is his debut novel.
