Holly Schindler writes for readers of all ages, both the young in years and young at heart. Her works are award-winning and critically acclaimed (starred reviews in Publishers Weekly and Booklist, silver and gold medals in ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year and the IPPYs, etc.) She has been writing poetry since her elementary school days, and writing songs since a member of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils taught her both basic guitar playing and songwriting skills. The influence of music and songwriting is especially evident in her first poetry collection, Tangles.
