The Accidental Slave

The Accidental Slave
Elin Peer
Young nurse, Aya Johansen, is working with refugees in a war zone when she is captured by fanatic religious warriors. Aya is determined to break free, even if it means pushing beyond the edge of her fear to find hidden resources of mental strength. If her only chance of escape is to navigate a forbidden attraction to one of her kidnappers - then she'll take it. What readers are saying: The characters are real, and the author doesn't fluff out the story with endless descriptions of coffee tables and the colour and style of the curtains etc. Funny, sad, exciting and sexy all rolled into one. A great read that you can't put down.Bruce Midgley

About the Author

Elin doesn't see herself as particularly adventurous, and yet she loves to travel and experience the world. She gets terribly seasick and can tell you about motion sickness from riding an elephant through an Asian jungle, a camel across the Sahara desert, a ship down the Nile in Egypt, a boat to Alaska, or a helicopter flying over Greenland.

She can testify that the most interesting people aren't always kings, queens, presidents, and celebrities, because she has met many of them in person.
After traveling the world and living in different countries, Elin is currently residing in the US with her husband, daughters, and her black Labrador that follows her everywhere.

What's special about her? Not much if you ask her, but people who know her say that she has a special gift - she's the kind of person you end up telling your darkest and deepest secrets to, even though you never intended to.

Maybe that's where she gets her inspiration for her dark romance books. One thing is for sure: Elin is not afraid to provoke, shock, touch, and excite you when she writes about unwanted desire and forbidden passion.
