Jacqui started writing late in life and writes as reads, across subjects and genres. Books start with character and usually a piece of music that holds the nub of the story. She starts with the first line of chapter one and writes just as she reads, line by line, not really knowing the end until she gets there. While all her characters are figments of her imagination, they contain strands of people she has known, and bits of the threads of her own life and those of others, she weaves them just as as she knits with wool and creates something different, something new and something she hopes her readers will enjoy.
