About the Author

I started writing novels on a crazy dare. Now I'm a USA Today and Amazon bestselling author with over 35 books to my name. My thrillers have been called “Perfect. . .impossible to put down” by the legal correspondent for CBS Television Network. Now I'm turning my eye on the lighter side of life and love in the Bailey Devlin Series. I wrote this series as a gift for my mom when she turned 90. All she wanted was a 'book without bodies' so I took my inspiration from my grandfather - her dad - and wrote a triology of sweet romances that I hope make you laugh and maybe even make you cry just a little.
I've taught writing at the acclaimed UCLA Writers Program as well as children’s conferences and school career days. One of my favorite things to do is meet readers and I spend time on the road speaking. I've appeared on radio and television, at bar associations, writer’s conferences, women’s symposiums, professional conventions and book festivals including repeat appearances at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
I've been married for 40 years to my husband, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge and am the mother of two sons. When I'm not writing (or reading) you'll find me on the tennis court, in the kitchen or at my sewing machine making clothes and quilts.
