Paul Teague is a former broadcaster and journalist with the BBC, but has also worked as a primary school teacher, a disc jockey, a shopkeeper, a waiter and a sales rep.
I wrote my first book at the age of 9 years old on a Basildon Bond notepad.
Paul's first series of books, The Secret Bunker Trilogy, was inspired by a family visit to a remarkable, real-life secret bunker at Troywood, Fife.
His next dystopian project was ‘The Grid' which was based around an initial idea that appeared in The Secret Bunker.
Paul recently moved into writing thrillers, fuelled by his childhood love of The Famous Five, Agatha Christie and James Hadley Chase.
He recently released Don't Tell Meg, The Murder Place and The Forgotten Children.
This was followed by the standalone book, Dead of Night.
Paul's next thriller is called Burden of Guilt and this will be released in September 2017.
