About the Author

Alice K. Boatwright is author of the Ellie Kent mysteries, which debuted with Under an English Heaven, winner of the 2016 Mystery and Mayhem Grand Prize in the Chanticleer International Book Awards competition. Under an English Heaven has generated a strong following with more than 400 reviews, and the sequel, What Child Is This? will be published by Cozy Cat Press in 2017.

Alice is also the author of the award-winning Collateral Damage, three linked novellas about the long-term impact of the Vietnam War (Standing Stone Books, 2012); and she has published dozens of short stories in literary journals.

Alice has taught writing at the University of New Hampshire and University of California, Berkeley and, for many years worked as a writer for organizations supporting public health, education, and the arts.

After a decade of living in Paris and Oxfordshire, she and her husband moved to the Pacific Northwest, where they live with their two cats.
