A retired electronic engineer, Sam Cohen is a writer, translator, and technical high school teacher. Prior to commencing his academic studies, he served three years in the Israeli army's signal corps. He is a keen photographer, artist, and amateur pianist.
Sam writes about people, their traits, feelings, and behavior and does so by presenting stories to which each person can relate, whether through personal experience or that of friends. His subjects come from his immediate surroundings: schools, neighborhood, and workplace.
Withering Leaves is Sam’s first novel. In it, he attempts to bring to light the subject of love, its meaning and implications.
Sam lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
