Religio Medici, Hydriotaphia, et al,

by Thomas Browne

Much prefer the one edited by Robin Robbins; but, that may be prejudice on my part because I read that edition first. Anyway, they are both a good read as-long-as you can comprehend the English and the times in which they were written and do not put a modern spin on what you read.

Author of the Day

William A. Liggett

He has always had a love for nature and a keen interest in science, which inspired him to start writing books in the "cli-fi" genre, where behavioral and earth sciences are blended to create riveting fiction. As our Author of the Day, Liggett talks about his book, Watermelon Snow, his research and reveals why he put a positive spin on a book about global warming.
