Time Crime

by H. Beam Piper

One of the many Paratime tales. Piper was a decent writer but I find these weak due to lack of emotion, no feeling of empathy toward the hero, strange advanced technology such as :boomeranr balls" and goofy character names. That aside, this has a degree of interest.

Ten From Infinity

by Paul W. Fairman

A good (but not original) premise poorly done. The characters are simply unrealistic, the situations not much better.

Good luck with the next one, Fairman.

Dan Merrithew

by Lawrence Perry

Another of those tales with a hero who\'s simply too good to be true. The story is saved, though, by the fact that this particular hero trails bad luck after himself like a personal black cloud, similar to Joe Btfsplk. Plenty of action and excitement.
