I never wanted to read it in the first place, but when I did, I found it containing everything I wanted- violence, drama, love and unforgiveness.....
finally you feel glad you are not a part of this drama, but could witness it.
A great novel, engrossing love story and self sacrifice of Sydney Carton makes it a great book
I started it with great anticipation but was really disappointed by it......
Slow in the middle but saves face due to interesting but obvious end.
This piece is an excellent piece of fiction depicting reality. The tough lives of miners in France is described in first hand. The climax is disheartening, making it a beautiful book.
