Excellent horror story! Perfect example of how NOT revealing most of the information can make a story all the more terrifying. Short enough to read in one sitting. I will be reading all of his other work now.
Another excellent story by Lovecraft, regarding the demise of a family who comes in contact with a suspicious meteorite.
This one might not be on such a grand scale as "Call of Cthulhu" or "At The Mountains of Madness", but when you get to the end your heart will be racing.
