Awful Disclosures

Um, none of you know much about book reviewing, do you? Reviewing a book is about its quality and interest, not about whether it is true (The Bible: 1 star. This didn't really happen!) Idiots.

That said, it's not very good.

The Wonders of Pompeii

The writing here is fresher than any modern travel book, even though this gem was written in 1871. Monnier's enthusiasm for Pompeii comes through so clearly, you'll feel you're sitting next to him, marveling at the ruins.
