An interesting book detailing the spiritual and physical maturing of a young man. Mark is the son of an Anglican clergyman belonging to the Catholic Party (the highest of the High Churchmen -- not Catholics insofar as recognizing the authority of the Pope).
Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson is one of my favorite authors. This particular novel is a fascinating study of how the love and faith of a young lady saves a young man from demonic possession.
A delightful story, but it unfortunately stops abruptly with the note:
"The further trials and experiences of Violet and how her future happiness was secured is told in the sequel to this story entitled "With Heart So True," and is published in handsome cloth binding uniform with this volume."
Hopefully the sequel will be made available soon.
