This was a wonderful book! The characters were very well done - centered around Donnegan. Different aspects of his character come out as the story develops. Many surprises along the way. Definitely not one of your typical cowboy westerns. I highly recommend this book!
Great story with a wonderful main character. The first Max Brand story I had read - got me hooked!
This was a great book. It is awesome to see big tough western men showing compassion for a young kid who strayed a bit. If you are a fan of L'Amour you should enjoy this book.
