This is my favorite short by Jerome, so far. A town tries to overthrow their unlikeable priest with a small dose of kindness, that turns to competitiveness, and may ultimately jeopardize their goal. Absolutely entertaining.

I was really disappointed in this book, however I am still giving it three stars solely based on the short "Experiment". Experiment, by Maxwell Struthers Burt, is a fun tale of a socialite who enjoys hosting parties with guests who wouldn't normally socialize with one another.
