This book is just fantastic! I didn't read this book until fairly recently, having been satisfied with the musical intepretation in the form the 1994 disney "classic".
However, music and colourful animation aside, after reading this book I have decided that it was one of the best and most influential books of my life. A beautiful tale of ignorance, love and selflessness. It instills the most important of values in our younger counterparts.
This Book is definitely going to be on my children's bedtime reading agenda, even if they don't like it!
Life changing! The only prescribed text that I have ever really enjoyed. The story, though short, is filled with metaphors and underlying motifs that really show off Kafka's flair and leaning towards existentialism
