The Call of Cthulhu

by H. P. Lovecraft

Eh. While I can see how this would have been a riveting sci-fi novel during its time, it definitely reads like a relic of literature today. However, it'll only take about an hour to finish so it's worth checking out if you're a sci-fi fan.

Loved it until it got to the part where it said " to be continued".
Guess I have to go to the Project Gutenburg site to read the rest, but wanted to be able to read it all here, now. Very good story, fits in even now, not outdated at all.

I loved it! Fast paced, new ideas, and a great sense of humor! Great details. Can't wait to read any other stories from this writer. One of my all time favorites now and that is quite saying something.

influences of Graham Masterton and Stephen King, but a little different, and UK based. Particularly liked the narrative jumps letting the reader fill in the gaps. Also liked the spiritualist character and think that might be an interesting area for future books. Slightly weak in the link between middle and end, don't want to go into detail as it would be a spoiler. Couple of proof reading glitches heals / heels, stopped / topped.
