A work of fiction labeled the "word of god" by the followers of mormonism, yet truely, the author is the church itself and make changes convienet to the times. I wonder if this is the version that describes the pure (and desirable) race as: "white and delightsome" or if this is the new and improved version that took a note from the 1960s (although a decade and a half late) with the offending word of God changed to "pure and delightsome" so the church's missionary efforts could proceed smoothly onward in Brazil and Africa. Nice book to skip.
