You are so wrong, reader. First, you'd read an artile, that was incorrect, about the Name and old reforms, then, you misread THAT article, in addition to that.
Russian words Peace and World are the same. Not society. And just for your information, Leo Tolstoy had named his book so that it CAULD be read both ways. He did the SMAE with his book "Voskresen'ye" , which can be read both "Sunday" and "the Resurrection".
ALL EDITIONS OF THE "War and Peace" while hwe was alive, were named "Война и миръ" in old Russian, which is, well, War and PEACE. Whenever Tolstoy himself wrote the title of his masterpiece in French, BEFORE and AFTER he'd finished the book, he wrote "La guerre et la paix". Which means War and Peace. So, please, stop the nonsense! And pardon my English it's my 5th language :(

Author of the Day

Joe Rothstein
Joe Rothstein has been at the center of U.S. politics through over two hundred campaigns over the past thirty years. This experience inspired him to write a very believable political thriller about a Latina president who sets out to fight corruption, but meets great resistance in the form of an international conspiracy to impeach her. As our Author of the Day, Rothstein gives us a look behind the scenes of political campaigns, talks about the world's financial stability and a lot more.
