This was moderately interesting but not of Lovecraft's better stories.
Very readable adventure story. It's farfetched at times but what adventure story isn't?
Jane Austen's maturity comes through in this novel. It's an excellent read and the characters are well done.
For the most part, a very well written novel. There were a few points where the language got quite fanciful but considering it was a collaborative work over an extended period that sort of thing is prone to happen.
