Horses Nine

by Sewell Ford

It is a labor of love to read "Horses Nine" partly because Ford knows so entirely what goes into the making of a proper horse, and a proper man. Though horses of course dominate, the men are very far from being mere incidentals, or even a sort of human background for equine portraits.
