Where Strongest Tide Winds Blew

The story of a young man's life who, after his parents' death, went to sea as an apprentice, witnessed a mutiny aboard ship, got down to Peru, where he was involved in a revolution, etc. When story opens he is working a mine in Colorado with a friend, the incidents given above being those of past life. The author says the principal are taken from the romantic lives of "the Honorable John B. Stephen and his estimable wife, of Colorado City, Colorado."
