iPod Notes format is now available - instructions on how to install are forthcoming, but basically all you need to do is unzip the downloaded file and move it into the ‘Notes’ directory on your iPod.

Finally fixed all titles that begin with “A” or “The” so that they alphabetize correctly.Thanks Greta!

eReader titles will now contain cover images - at least, with the desktop eReader (it doesn’t seem to work with the Palm version for some reason).

Author lists now show all authors, instead of shorter lists in groups of ten.

Librie format is available again, but still does not work consistently.

Foreign language eBooks should convert to eReader format correctly now.

Librie format is back in beta mode, and David Rothman (of Teleread) is sending a loaner Librie reader to test with!

No one seems interested in voting for titles, so that’s turned off.

I’ve added a “vote” feature, so visitors can rate each title. Still need to figure out the best way to phrase it…

Just figured out some weird stuff in our referer logs - AdminShop and xcopy.com kept showing up.

The order of format choices in the drop-down menu has been re-organized to reflect the relative popularity of each format.

LRF format is in “beta test” mode — Librie eBooks should work (we don’t have one to test with yet!)

TCR format has been added — it’s for Symbian phones.

Continued problems with extra lines in the DOC formatted files. Let us know if you have trouble!

Added a “Random eBook” link. Each time the page is refreshed it will select another random title.

Comments and Reviews can now be added to every eBook! Just click on the “Reviews” tab (it’s next to the “Excerpt” heading).

The doc and zTXT formatting errors have been resolved — double spaces between lines have been removed.

An RSS feed has been created, and will list the 10 most recent eBooks.

Recent Additions are now available. Manybooks.net is almost up-to-date with Project Gutenberg releases!

“Popularity” counter reset 4/11/2004 at 68,000 downloads. Also accidentally deleted all of the databases. Whoops. Fixed, though.

iSiloX format has been added, and has Chapters - iSiloX requires iSilo v3.1 or better.

Palmreader documents now have Chapters.

Changed the list of available formats to a drop-down menu, and your selected format should remain selected thereafter.

Reset the “Popularity” counter - more than 94,000 downloads from 12/29/2003 to 3/29/2004

Changed scripts so the documents and eBooks appear to come from a sub-directory ~~ this should fix a problem with older Windows IE browsers that save all books as “send.pdb”

Plucker’s formatting has been modified: “Click for Next Part” is no longer present in documents.

An anonymous visitor suggested the addition of Authors names to the Category section (good idea!). I’ve also added it to the Language section.

manybooks.net domain has been set up and is being tweaked.

Missing “br” sequences have been fixed for Doc and zTXT eBooks.
