Custom iLiad PDF – “extra”
There’s a new iLiad PDF formatting option called “Custom iLiad PDF – extra” in the download menu now. It uses domPDF for the rendering, which allows for some really nice CSS-controlled options like justification, paragraph spacing, and the like — all popular requests.
The catch is the speed of the script — it has none. It’s slow. So slow that most folks will think the script has died, or timed out. The results are quite nice, I think, but this probably won’t be terrifically popular.
Building the script did get me going on a simple HTML-format download option, though, which will allow folks to specify some basic formatting options for the zipped HTML. Not fully tested, but it seems OK. Anyone care to comment?
