I’ve set up RSS feeds for each category of ebook — so if all you’re interested in is Adventure tales, you can subscribe to that category alone.

There seems to be some trouble generating new eReader documents. It’s being worked on!

Update - well, the eReader format is working, though I’m not sure why it wasn’t working to begin with. But troubleshooting that issue (raised by a review that was actually a bug report and complaint) brought another problem to light: the contact form messages aren’t being delivered. No wonder it’s been so quiet. My apologies to anyone that’s tried to reach me via the web forms… I’ll work on that today.

(OK, that’s fixed - the contact form actually sends messages to me again.)

Since the format counter was reset on January 1st of this year, not a single cellphone-friendly ebook has been downloaded — a symptom of the fact that mnybks.net was only serving errors. Now that the issue has been resolved, perhaps someone will grab a book or two, but if it remains at zero I may remove the whole deal, since it’s just another server for spiders to hit; even the minimal traffic of a WAP site uses some of the bandwidth that manybooks.net could make available to visitors.

Perhaps the main manybooks.net site should provide a direct link to download the java format? There are links on the page, but not in the dropdown menu… Well, we’ll see.

Update: 37 downloads in less than a day means it will remain for now. Good!
