iSilo for iPhone/iPod
New version has just shown up in the iTunes App store — it now has a built in WebDAV server, so you can move iSilo PDB files from your desktop computer to your iPhone via WiFi. Nice!
You can also download directly from a web site to your iPhone from within iSilo: from the home screen tap the “…” button, then “Download” and visit your favorite free ebook site (note: if you bookmark that site and move it to the top of the iSilo browser bookmarks list, it will load automatically next time). Select Doc or iSilo format from the download options, then select where you want the file saved and tap “Done”.
I’ve had mixed results trying to download iSilo format (from the main site or the iPhone specific site), but PalmDOC files seem to work every time.
