Blackberry & Mobipocket
I hope that the OTA (”Over The Air”) installation of mobipocket format ebooks on Blackberry devices is finally fixed — a few good folks have reported that it does work on their devices, but without one to test with myself it’s still hard to call the issue settled. Would anyone with a Blackberry care to give it a shot? All you need is the free mobipocket reader application for your Blackberry, and you should be able to download from manybooks.net or mnybks.net.
A few things to note:
- When the download starts, you will be presented with the message “The item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save the item?” — Press Yes.
- When the save screen pops up, select the folder icon next to “/Media Card/”. Then open the folder that says “Media Card”. Finally, select the “eBooks” folder and press open. Press Enter on the keyboard, then press Save. The saved file will be available the next time you launch Mobipocket.
