Undoubtedly one of the best seafaring exploration books that I've ever read and I've read a lot. This has the actual log book entries that Cook made during his 3 year circumnavigation voyage and is amazingly accurate in content and charting. It's like you are there with him and his crew on the Endeavor for the whole journey. I plotted his course using google maps and also visted the places he did by looking at pictures of all the landfalls and sites mentioned. It was an exhilerating experience and a journey I'll never forget. Thank you Lt James Cook and all those involved who assisted in bringing this remarkable cruise of discovery into the publc arena!
