which a myriad coloured lights rocked and swam. And still his features wore that monkeyish look of unrest, of discontent and quizzical irony oddly mingled. He felt the lure, but it was not strong enough. Its influence had lost its potency.

I would definitley recommend this. It was a good read, in depth characters, a little mysterious and heart warming.

The Hundredth Chance is available from Google Books.

This is really a sequel to The Hundredth Chance, and a lot of Charles Rex's past is explained by reading that book. I wish it were available as an ebook.

i fist thought it was a biography. when i read the name of the book.. but its different.. sweet ending..but more details of previous life of charles Rex.. and why his previous engagement has been broken should have been given more precisely....

this is a wonderful read.. it has made my day..

Charles Rex lived for himself until he met Toby who changed his life forever. A good read.
