I read this whilst in Italy a few years ago, visiting several of the places mentioned. It is amazing how much and how little these places have changed since Dickens' time. Whilst not one of Dickens' more renowned works, and so dated in places it becomes mildly tiresome, I still found it at least as enjoyable as eg Hard Times and much better than eg Edwin Drood. Recommended.
