The object of this volume is not only to furnish a brief outline of religious growth, but to show the effect which each of the two forces, female and male, has had on the development of our present God-idea, which investigation serves to accentuate the conclusions arrived at in the Evolution of Woman relative to the inheritance of each of the two lines of sexual demarcation.

I feel that the writer has not read enough mystic literature, either about mystics or by mystics, ancient or modern, in order to come to her conclusion or premise. Also her language and mode of expression is unnecessarily dense and wordy. This appears to be a flaw common to many USA intellectuals. Also (just a small point) she has used 'comprehending' where 'comprising' is the correct word. Perhaps her editor could have picked that up. Siestog, maar toemaar!
