What starts out as a well-written story with an interesting plot turns into a quick, predictable, and unsatisfying ending. You'll miss nothing by skipping this one.
A pretty good revenge story that only qualifies as science fiction because of a mysterious ray gun that was issued to a guard by the Outsiders (who are never seen or explained.) If the guard used a revolver instead, it would have made no difference to the story.

The three characters are well-drawn and the plot kept me guessing right up until the end.
