Greg Tenorly lives a quiet and lonely life in a small East Texas town, until he is selected as a juror for a murder trial. A beautiful, mysterious redhead befriends him, and seems to have a romantic interest. But is she merely using him to influence the outcome of the trial?
By the end of the first week, three people connected with the case are dead, and Greg is beginning to fear for his own life. He is now convinced that a powerful Dallas attorney is directing the murder spree in his little town. But why? He is determined to find out.
But his investigation just might earn him a spot at the top of the hit list.
He hit me and threw me into the wall. I'm sorry, Greg, I shouldn't be calling you, but--"
Greg heard a man shouting in the background, then a commotion. The phone went dead. He felt sick and helpless, like a kid who had just been spun on a merry-go-round at breakneck speed until he flew off. And the dizziness would not soon go away.
Greg wanted to call the police, but what would he tell them? And why did she call him instead of 911? He would call her back. No, he couldn't--he didn't have her number.

Great adventure and enjoyed the twist and turns at the end.
It's light reading and full of action. It's ok,
Unless you want to spend a sleepless night, don't read any of these 4 books. They just kept me up two nights running, I was so enthralled.
An excellent novel and murder mystery with a lot of suspense and plot twists. I fully enjoyed it and highly recommend it to others.
Loved it! Exciting read, great plot, loved the characters, well written.
Lots of murders. Nicely tied up at the end. An easy read. Very good.
Fast paced with twists I didn't anticipate. A quick read and not at all boring!!!
An entertaining enough read but the main character, Greg Tenorly, with whom one is supposed to empathise, struck me as somewhat bland which lessened my enjoyment of the well-plotted narrative.
Absouletly a brilliant read, keeps you wondering to the end. Would give this to a friend to read.
Enjoyed this book, good story well told nice twists. Worth reading.
This was a good murder mystery and suspense story with some twists and turns. It was relatively fast paced and was a very enjoyable read. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the Greg Tenorly series.
