Otto: Ihre Worte machen Louis glücklich; nicht wahr, mein Bruder?

Louis: Ja, -- ich habe wieder Mut. Ich muß wieder lernen und schnell und perfekt lernen; denn -- Wissen Sie nicht, Herr Meister, daß Bruder Albert hier ist?

Herr Meister: Wirklich?

Louis: Ja, er ist letzten Donnerstag angekommen.

Herr Meister: Nun, das freut mich. Ihre Eltern sind wohl recht glücklich?

Louis: Ja, -- und wir alle. Otto, Schwester Martha und ich.

Herr Meister: Das will ich glauben. Auch wir halten hier einen lieben Gast. -- Wollen Sie einen Augenblick entschuldigen? -- Ich will nur jene Thüre öffnen. -- Meine Damen, haben Sie doch die Güte, hereinzukommen in mein Studier-Zimmer.

Otto: Ah -- Fräulein Bella!
