Book Excerpt
the scenes of the long-continued conflict between good and evil have been opened to the writer of these pages. From time to time I have been permitted to behold the working, in different ages, of the great controversy between Christ, the Prince of life, the Author of our salvation, and Satan, the prince of evil, the author of sin, the first transgressor of God's holy law. Eye opening, to say the least. Of special interest is the history of the reformation. It is amazing to see how protestant churches have discarded their early complaints against the Catholic system.

An anti-Catholic eschatology by the founder and prophetess of the Seventh-day Adventist church. Heavy Victorian-era prose, much of it copied from other writers.

Never before has a book impacted my thinking and understanding of subject: The Great Controversy between Chris and satan, as much as this one. There is so much more to our life here on earth than most of us think. The book is clear and took my thoughts "outside the box". The author has incredible insight in this subject that we as humans all struggle with. Definitely a "Must Read".
