Susan B. Nickson is an award-winning author specializing in women’s fiction and romance. Currently, she has published two complete series: the Healing Series, which is set in the Texas countryside, and the Breaking Series, set amid Houston society. The second novel of the Three Beaches Series, a trio of sweet romances that allow readers to explore beaches around the world, is her most recent release.
Susan was raised in Alabama, near Gulf Shores, where weekends and summers at the family beach cottage gave her an appreciation for peaceful surroundings. An Earth Sciences graduate of Auburn University, Susan found employment in the Texas oil and gas industry and her British transplant husband, all in one job interview that morphed into a pool game. Actually, 8 games, and she won 5. The interview, or was it the pool game, got her hired as the company’s first woman mud logger.
She and her husband, David, raised two terrific children, but when the kids went away to college, the parents went out to play. They found a great spot in the Texas countryside where they learned about water wells, septic tanks, and the real meaning of chores. They live with two rescue dogs, a cat, and two Appaloosa horses.
