Jillian and her brother see what others can't, an array of grotesque creatures. The monsters breached our world ages ago and each one is eager to kill those who can see them. Jillian and her brother must forsake the life they once knew, venturing into the unknown in search of strength and sanctuary—a place to shield them from the malevolent eyes of the monsters and learn how to fight.
