Efrat Almagor is an artist and creator.
She holds a degree in education and worked as a kindergarten and primary school teacher, before turning to theatre and acting, which is now her main focus.
Efrat is the creator of the Improve-It Theater for Playback and Improvisation. She also writes a weekly column on contemplative art in a digital magazine for teenage girls. She lives with her two mischievous boys in a small village home.
Efrat believes in encouraging reading and outdoor activities as healthy pastimes for young children and reducing screen time to a minimum. She maintains that the physical and emotional closeness between a parent and child when reading a story together contributes significantly to children’s mental and emotional development, strengthens the parent-child bond, and is an invaluable way to spend quality time together.
The Little Adventures with Ben and Dave series was born from these values and from her own experience as a teacher and mother.
