First and foremost, Charly Froh loves exploring the magical and the mystical, dreaming about fantasy worlds and typing up their stories. She was born and raised in Munich, Germany. In early childhood, Charly had several operations on her legs. Even though one knee remained not fully functional, she started practicing rhythmic gymnastics at the age of six and, together with her team, won multiple championships. Since elementary school, Charly has volunteered with different charity organizations around the world. All these roads culminated in her serving as an advisory board member for a women’s empowerment NGO operating in India, Cambodia, and the United States. Charly also works as a board of directors member of a humanitarian NGO in Central Asia. After studying law in Germany, she moved to New York City and earned specialized degrees in the fields of information technology law and international human rights. Additionally, she is a sommelier and a business mediator. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Charly collaborated with several international organizations, including United Nations Women, on an international project to combat domestic violence.
