Alice K. Boatwright, author of the award-winning Ellie Kent mysteries, was “born” to become an Anglophile, after spending her childhood summers at an English country dance and music camp where her father played the fiddle for the dancing. She enjoyed her first ex-pat experience when her family spent a year in India, and there she became addicted to the British Schoolgirl Illustrated mysteries about intrepid girl sleuths. When, as an adult, she had the good fortune to live for several years in Oxfordshire, it was inevitable that she would begin writing the Ellie Kent mysteries, with an American ex-pat sleuth married to a Morris-dancing, witty, and philosophical English vicar. The three titles available now are UNDER AN ENGLISH HEAVEN, WHAT CHILD IS THIS? and IN THE LIFE EVER AFTER. . .with more to come. Alice also writes other fiction for both adults and children. She moved to the Seattle area in 2014 and has become an active member of the writing community there. You can sign up for Alice's occasional newsletter at http://eepurl.com/cER4Cj
