Made & Unmade
J. G. Cope
A single moment changes Joe Rose’s fate. Fresh out of high school, he helps a stranger, Vince DeLuca, at a pool hall—unwittingly stepping into the Detroit Mafia’s world. A job offer turns into a life of crime, where morality is a luxury. Decades later, even witness protection can’t free him. Trapped in a different kind of prison, Joe takes justice into his own hands with a bitter realization.

About the Author

J.G. Cope is either odd or eccentric, depending upon how you look at it. Growing up in the Detroit area, he was odd. As an adult he moved to Richmond, Virginia where the genteel nature of the Upper South labels him merely as eccentric. He spends too much time in deep contemplation overthinking things, but also enjoys the company of his wife, three children, cat, and a flock of semi-feral chickens. He has an intense curiosity about what makes people tick—at both the personal and societal levels. At their cores, his books try to dig into these kinds of questions.
