The title won Book of the Year with Fantasia Reviews and garnered an audio book contract for the entire series, The Bow of Hart Saga.

In his second steampunk detective fantasy series, The Cursed Mage Case Files, the main character suffered a severe setback which landed him in unemployment. Not long afterward, PH found himself working through severe “brain fog” that landed him in unemployment.
