About the Author

Gary Born is an international lawyer, arbitrator and academic. He is the author of “International Commercial Arbitration,” which received the American Society of International Law’s prestigious Certificate of Merit for High Technical Craftsmanship, “International Arbitration: Cases and Materials,” and “International Civil Litigation in United States Courts.” He is also one of the world’s leading international arbitration practitioners, voted “Advocate of the Year” by peers in 2010 and “World’s Best International Litigator.” Mr. Born teaches international law at Harvard Law School, National University of Singapore and St. Gallen University.
